Miss Fortune Falls Announced For Typhoon Lagoon

With the announcement of Miss Fortune Falls opening at Typhoon Lagoon, it would have seemed they were expanding the park with this new attraction, but new information is circulating that "Shark reef" will be closing in September. Miss Fortune Falls will be a family-style raft attraction that takes guests on a splashing journey through the fabled Captain Mary Oceaneer’s past. Legend has it that Captain Oceanear, a treasure-hunting heroine, traveled across the sea collecting unique artifacts before she became stranded at Typhoon Lagoon many years ago by a rogue storm.

Main Street Electrical Parade Dining Package at Tony's Opens for Reservations Today!

The Magic Kingdom has announced that a new dining package will open for Advanced Dining Reservations on June 7, 2016. The new Main Street Electrical Parade Dining Package will allow Guests to purchase a three-course lunch at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant and receive voucher to a reserved viewing in front of the flagpole on Main Street U.S.A.

It appears there may be some changes coming to WDW Fastpass + in the next couple of weeks. More FastPasses, ability to change one person in the group, book at more than one park for park hoppers are a few of the changes as well as a redesign of the app.

Disney Parks on Both Coasts Adopt Seasonal Pricing on 1 Day Park Tickets

In a statement released today, Disney said: "We are committed to delivering on our Guests’ high expectations in the midst of unprecedented demand for our parks, particularly during peak visitation periods." "It is also why we continue to look for ways to spread out visitation. So, beginning tomorrow, we are shifting to seasonal pricing for 1-Day tickets. It’s an approach that you are probably familiar with from many other areas, including sports, entertainment and travel."

Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters Opens March 7, 2016

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters, the new attraction in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park, is rolling with fun and festivities. Twenty of Luigi’s cugini (cousins) are visiting from Carsoli, Italy, to help celebrate Race Day in Radiator Springs with music and dancing at Casa della Tires. Guests are invited to join the excitement by hopping aboard miniature Italian roadsters, inspired by late 1950s micro cars. Each cousin performs the traditional dances of Carsoli, moving to upbeat music and Luigi’s singing in a precision-choreographed dance across what appears to be a trackless “dance floor.”

Mickey Mouse and his pals unite in a tale of friendship featuring songs and characters from Disney’s contemporary classics “Princess and the Frog,” “Tangled” and “Frozen.” From the land of the bewitching bayous, Goofy has invited Princess Tiana, Naveen and Louis to add a little spice of New Orleans jazz to the party. Epic Fireworks and Projection Show, Live Onstage Entertainment and Stormtrooper March

Just in time for spring, that “galaxy far, far away’’ will be closer than ever with the April 4th arrival of the new Star Wars live entertainment experience Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away and a menacing First Order stormtrooper procession at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And to kick off summer, the park is launching a new nightly fireworks and projection show called Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular that will eclipse anything of its kind in the park’s history.

Disney Princess Moments Recreated With Dolls

Photographer Brian McCarty teamed up with Disney Consumer Products to recreate some of our favorite moments starring Disney Princesses, entirely with the new Disney Princess dolls, meticulously hand-made sets, and custom props and lighting. McCarty focused on three main scenes featuring Merida, Tiana and Rapunzel.

Frozen is Coming to Broadway in 2018

For the first time in forever, Frozen is coming to Broadway! Rumors about the show have been swirling for some time now, but the official announcement was released today. The all-new show will be joining the likes of the critically acclaimed Aladdin and The Lion King in spring 2018. The pre-Broadway engagement is slated to kick off summer 2017.

The "Earffel Tower" Is Coming Down

Making way for the new Star Wars and Toy Story areas, the "Earffel Tower" landmark will come down at Disney's Hollywood Studios soon, and the theme park will close several attractions April 2. Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show; Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure; a Monsters Inc. meet-and-greet and the Studio Catering Co. restaurant will all close as part of a makeover. Rumour has it that the Writer's Stop has also been added to this list.
