Walt Disney Co To Buy Marvel Entertainment Building on its strategy of delivering quality branded content to people around the world, The Walt Disney Company has agreed to acquire Marvel Entertainment, Inc. in a stock and cash transaction, the companies announced today. Under the terms of the agreement and based on the closing price of Disney on August 28, 2009, Marvel shareholders would receive a total of $30 per share in cash plus approximately 0.745 Disney shares for each Marvel share they own.

2010 Adventures By Disney Destinations Adventures by Disney invites travelers to experience the world in 2010 with guided group vacations created especially for families and breathtaking trips spanning six continents. Guests will meet local experts and enjoy VIP treatment and exclusive experiences they might otherwise miss on their own while discovering incredible adventures, including special thrills just for kids. D23 Expo Schedule Released For four incredible days beginning September 10, fans of Disney entertainment will revel in new discoveries, special panels and presentations, movie screenings, celebrity appearances and autograph signings, plus new insights into movies, TV shows, theme parks, animation, Disney history and more. It's all part of the first-ever D23 EXPO from Sept. 10-13 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
