Disney, OpenTV Settle Patent Dispute

Interactive television company OpenTV Corp. and media and entertainment giant Walt Disney Co. said on Wednesday they settled patent litigation brought by OpenTV's ACTV unit against Disney and its ABC and ESPN units. The patents in the suit relate to certain systems and methods for synchronizing Internet content with television programming, enabling television viewers to receive content pertaining to a broadcast program through the Internet.
